Role Description

With our new Hyde workshop opening, we’re looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join the team. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of heavy goods vehicles, carrying out inspections, and ensuring all work meets DVSA requirements. Duties:

Carry out servicing, repairs, and routine maintenance on HGVs and trailers

Diagnose and repair faults using modern diagnostic equipment

Perform safety inspections and record all findings in line with DVSA standards

Ensure accurate completion of job cards and workshop documentation

Work to high standards of quality and efficiency in all tasks

Required Certification & Experience:

Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)

Previous hands-on experience working with HGVs in a workshop setting

Strong technical and diagnostic knowledge

Positive attitude with strong attention to detail

HGV Class 1 or 2 licence preferred but not essential
