Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fabricator / Welder to join our team at our Atherton-based body repair centre. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of vehicle and trailer body repairs that our company is known for. You will be working in a clean, safety-conscious environment and must adhere to all Health & Safety regulations. The successful candidate will demonstrate precision, efficiency, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Duties:
• Repair and fabricate vehicle and trailer bodies to a high standard
• Work with a variety of materials including fibreglass, steel, aluminium, and hardwood
• Use tools and techniques such as drilling, cutting, riveting, welding, and grinding
• Complete all required job documentation and time records accurately
• Maintain a tidy and safe working area
• Pension enrolment after 3 months
• Access to Simply Health after 3 months
Required Certification & Experience:
• Proven experience in fabrication and welding
• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or time-served equivalent
• Full, clean UK driving licence (preferred)
• Must supply own tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
